Teamspeak Support :: How do friends connect to your teamspeak server

1. Ask the server owner the server address, server port and server password if there is one, keep those on a paper close, you will need them shortly.
   
   
2. Install the teamspeak client program, you can find it Here.
   
   
3. Once installed, open the teamspeak client program, it should look like this:
   
   



4. Click "Connect" on the top menu and follow the instruction below.
   
   



1. Right click in the white windows , a litle menu should appear, select "add server".



2. Enter your server label (label can be any name you want).



3. Enter the Server Address and port you received from the server owner. The server address and port should be entered as following: serveraddress:port . Example: ts10.light-speed.com:7888



4. Enter your nickname, you can put any nickname you want, it will be the name displayed inside the server when connected.



5. Be sure the check box "Anonymous" is checked.



6. Enter the server password provided by your server owner, the server password is case sensitive so be sure to type the corect password with the correct high and low case caracters.
7. Push connect, you should hear "Link engaged".



5. You should now be connected to your friend teamspeak server.



6. If you are getting an error: "Wrong password or login name". Be sure to match the exact password as provided by your teamspeak owner, do not forget that the password is case sensitive.
7. If you are getting a socket error, it is most likely an error in your adrress.
