Teamspeak Support :: Error: no sound driver is available for use.

If you get an error like this one: "tdsoundout.open(directsoundcreate) : no sound driver is available for use" it most likely means your sound card drivers are not installed or upgraded correctly.
  1. Make sure that your sound drivers are installed properly and up to date.


  2. In some cases the drivers are installed correctly and the error still occurs, open teamspeak, go in the settings menu and open the "Options" window.



  3. In the "Sound Devices" tab, change the Sound driver to "Wave" if it was set to "Direct3dSound" and change it to "Direct3dSound" if it was set to "Wave" then, push "Ok". Close teamspeak and reopen it.
