Teamspeak Support :: How to fix the sound breaking up(skip) that does not occur only when in game.

1. The first thing to verify is if the problem is related to a connection issue.


1. When inside your teamspeak server right click your username and select "Get connection info", from the connection information page you can see if you are getting packet lost.



2. If you are getting high packet lost (5%+) it means that there is a connection problem between you and the server.



3. There are some tests we can do to see if it's a server side issue or client side issue, and we appreciate when poeple report these connection issues, it facilitate our investigation if the problem is on our side.




2. If you can hear your friends without problems, but they report to you that your voice is breaking up:



1. It can be related to your microphone sensivity setting, if you are not using the push to talk button and the sensivity is not set properly it can register parts of your discussion only.



2. In the Teamspeak "Settings -> Input/output" menu try to put your sensivity more towards the whisper side.




3. In some cases the problem can be caused by a broken microphone wire.



1. Open Teamspeak, open the "Setting -> Input/output" menu and click local test mode.



2. Move your microphone wire while talking and see if your voice is breaking up more when shaking the wire.



3. If your voice break up when moving the microphone wire, there is an high possibility that your wire is broken and a new microphone is needed




4. Another commun cause is a too high cpu load caused by other running programs
