Teamspeak Support :: How to adjust the microphone sensitivity in teamspeak

  1. Open your teamspeak and go in the "Settings" -> "Sound Input/Ouput Settings".


  2. Be sure that the check box "Voice Activation" is checked.


  3. Click the button "Activate local test mode



  4. Now try talking, the green light will turn on when your voice is registered and teamspeak starts recording.


  5. Adjust the "Voice Activation Level" bar to make it so when you start talking the green light turn on and when you stop talking it turns off.


  6. If you set your sensitivity too low, your teamspeak might pick up background noises and start recording, that can be annoying for other people with you in the server.


  7. If you set your sensitivity too high you will have some voice breaking up issues.
